Class of 2020 Jump Start Day
Welcome Cleveland Class of 2020!  Cleveland High School will host it's annual Jump Start Day for incoming freshman and students new to Cleveland on Thursday, August 4th from 9:00am to 12 noon.  Look for details at registration.  
2016-2017 Parking Application
Parking for the 2016-2017 school year will be done at registration.  At registration please have completed Parking Application, a copy of your student's Driver's License (must be at least a provisional driver's license, permits are not valid to obtain a parking pass), a copy of current insurance on primary vehicle, a copy of current registration and $30 parking fee.                                      Click here for parking application.  
Google Drive for Seniors and Non-returning Students
All Google accounts (s.rrps.net) for students not returning next year will be deleted by RRPS IT Department.  If students have data saved in their Google drive, it is their responsibility to download the folders and files (from anywhere with internet access) if they want to keep them. They can save the information to a home computer or to a flash drive.  The deadline for completing this is June 30, 2016.
Summer Reading - AP courses
Juniors entering AP Literature and Composition should read and annotate All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy.
 
Seniors entering AP Language and Composition should read and annotate David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell, with a focus on the author's purpose and the appeals (ethos, pathos, logos) he uses to achieve that purpose.  
 
The Barnes and Noble at Cottonwood has been informed of these reading selections.

Register now for the 2016 Storm Baseball Summer Camp! Ages 7 & Up
Camp is Scheduled for May 24 & 25 from 9am-Noon. You must register by Friday, May 13th to receive a camp t-shirt.

Family Connection & Naviance

Naviance Family Connection
Naviance is a comprehensive web site that assists in managing the college and career exploration process. Students are able to complete personality and career inventories, build resumes and utilize PrepMe which is an ACT preparation tool.

During the spring semester students in grades 8-11 will be completing their Next Step Plan through Naviance. This process identifies courses they plan on taking throughout their High School career.
